Caterpillar’s Industrial Brushcutter is designed to attach to skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, Cat Multi Terrain loaders and compact wheel loaders fitted with a universal coupler. Its functions include land clearing, right-of-way maintenance and site prep. It has a 72-inch cutting width and handles material, such as brush, small trees and vegetation, up to 8 inches in diameter. The hydraulic motor and gearbox sustain operations in hot weather, and an anti-cavitation valve and accumulator provide consistent fluid flow to protect the motor, the company says.

ROUND ONE: Nelson is two inches taller but Ferreira has three inches of reach advantage. They touch gloves to get us going. Both men feinting, bit of a check hook from Nelson. Leg kick from Ferreira but he stays too upright and Nelson lands a couple of counter hooks. Body kick from Nelson. Nelson hurts Ferreira with body work, then lands a head kick as he blocked a takedown attempt. Another front kick from Nelson to the body, Ferreira is hurt to the body and tries to pull guard but Nelson pulls free and makes him stand back up. Ferreira seems to have recovered, he’s coming forward and lands punches to the head and kicks to the body. Both guys landing body work, Nelson lands a right to the jaw and this is breaking down then Ferreira gets a double leg into top position. Nelson trying to survive but Ferreira is quickly into half guard. Ferreira is after a kimura, he’s got the double wrist lock and is nearly into full mount. Now Ferreira is switching between kimura attempts and straight armbars but Nelson is able to get his wrist free. Ferreira decides to just land elbows to the body and head while setting up to attack the arm again. Nelson is cut on the top of the head form these elbows. Speaking of elbows, Ferreira lands move and moves to full mount. Full back mount now for Ferreira dn he’s looking to pound out Nelson. Nelson will survive until the end of the round though.
As the Laginas shopped, cameras followed them around the lot. They clearly were not strangers to the heavy equipment. Marty Lagina studied mechanical engineering and has founded two companies — a natural gas extraction enterprise that became an industry leader in Michigan and a wind turbine firm. Rick Lagina has experience running dozers. It’s a family thing. When their nephew, Peter Fornetti, climbed on a D5K dozer during the shopping, Marty Lagina told him: “Your grandfather was never happier than when he was driving a bulldozer.”
The walk-around completed, Frieders and Howard then used the R 920 in a number of typical job-site applications: trenching, truck-loading, lifting, front-shovel work, and perhaps in a not-so-typical task for an excavator, dozing considerable volumes of excavated material back into the trenches.
The rest of the card is quietly solid as the all action Alex Oliveira battles Gunnar Nelson, Thiago Santos tries to continue his assault on the light heavyweight division, Olivier Aubin-Mercier takes on Gilbert Burns in what could be a sleeper bout for Fight of the Night honors, and Claudia Gadelha battles Nina Ansaroff for position in the strawweight division. Now it could turn out that these fights are duds in practice but on paper this is a solid offering.
“The more common business model is to rent the basic attachments that will not only provide a decent return on investment, and often higher than standard fleet, but it also will encourage the rental of core pieces. If you do not offer an attachment that is generally expected to be in your fleet, your competitor will. Any opportunity you allow your client to go somewhere else is an opportunity you also provide for your competitor to develop the account and service their next requirement,” Durante says.
The net effect is big gains in several categories: up to 45 percent increased efficiency, up to 25 percent reduced fuel consumption and up to 15 percent lower maintenance costs.
Tonga sent Beretta into the corner, then hit him with a dropkick on the way out. Tonga and Loa continued their assault on Beretta’s back. Beretta hit Loa with a running knee out of the corner, and was able to tag Chuckie.Â

“The decision to rent attachments can come from two schools of thought. You can decide to become an attachment specialist by renting what others do not offer. While this is a capital-intensive investment and requires a good amount of marketing, word of mouth and education to the customer to let them know you provide equipment not traditionally offered in rental fleets, it does allow for a greater return on investment once you have traction and become a known resource,” Durante says.
