The Skinny: “I recently had Lee Wolen’s ricotta dumplings. Not just because he is my best buddy, but THESE ARE UNREAL. Literally the best ricotta-gnudi-gnocchi-esque dumplings in the city. They are huge, fluffy, cheesy pillows — literally the size of a fun-sized Snickers bar. They have a firm beautiful chew on the outside and then the center is almost liquid ricotta and parmesan.”
“The stump puller is an extremely versatile and efficient piece of equipment for clearing land,” says David Jenkins, president of Solesbee’s Equipment & Attachments LLC. “It allows contractors to extract stumps of all sizes in a fraction of the time it would take using other methods and with minimal soil disruption, so backfill and leveling take less time as well.”

Using a wide bucket in hard material may also create extra wear and tear on the bucket and the pins on the machines, potentially causing downtime for the customer, Neal points out.
When the cutting-edge grinds against hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete the bucket wears unevenly, which will result in a scallop shape.
“The goal of any store is to generate revenue while minimizing operating expenses and downtime. Offering a variety of attachments to use on a loader helps keep it out on rent. Plus, the attachments can be rented to contractors who have their own loader,” says Tyler Monson, marketing, Virnig Manufacturing, Rice, Minn.

Most customers don’t have a cameras on them, of course. “It certainly was a unique experience having a camera crew follow us around while we were working. That’s not something we see every day,” Ferguson said. He added that for the most part, the camera work was non-intrusive though taping of some scenes was repeated when audio pickup was weak.
An hour later, Roy sends his article back to the Farm, clasping his hands in mock prayer. His chest scars are itching again, so he bites his tongue to distract himself. Maybe he’ll grab lunch at that new Uzbek taco joint.
Maury Povich took the train to New York from Philadelphia, where he was on Christmas vacation at the University of Pennsylvania. He had spent his high school summers working for Wolff, who called Washington Senators games on the radio. After college Povich returned to Washington and worked at local radio station WWDC. A few years later, he moved to TV and covered the Redskins when they were coached by George Allen.
The company says the stumper can be paired with Solesbee’s excavator thumbs to lift and stack stumps, debris and limbs, and the company says it also features claws on the back of each shank to push stumps away from the excavator. This, Solesbee’s says, enables operators to better position stumps and other materials to grab and pick up using the attachment and excavator’s thumb.
