When Teachout appeared on MSNBC in May and told Ari Melber that she was open to prosecuting members of the Trump administration, she drew a sharp response on Twitter from Brendan Nyhan, a professor at the University of Michigan and an expert on political norms, who tweeted that she risked undermining the rule of law: “Democrats should not rationalize Zephyr Teachout’s behavior—what if the NY AG was a Republican who ran on investigating President Hillary Clinton? We must not go down this road. The powers of prosecutors are vast and easily abused.”
This is the story of where guide dogs for blind and partially-sighted people really come from. It includes: why they wear nail-varnish as soon as they’re born, why they’re never scared of fireworks, and why you really must play them Guns N’ Roses.
21 Dec Kier has signed the construction contract for the P2 building at Lewis Cubitt Square in the King’s Cross district of London.
“It all comes down to material type as to what type of GET you use,” says Neal. “Whether it’s bucket teeth or extra guarding to protect the life of the bucket, there is a fine balance between longevity of the bucket and overall productivity. The heavier the bucket, the less payload the machine will be able to achieve.”
Weld-on cutting edge – Technically, every bucket comes with a weld on cutting edge. However, when excessive wear causes the cutting edge to recede into the bucket, replacement can exceed the total cost of the bucket.
Brass Heart may be the most promising, and frustrating, restaurant I’ve been to this year. We’re talking about a kitchen that ferments its own cashew cheese for three days and then uses porcini powder and dehydrated huitlacoche to make it resemble Humboldt Fog goat cheese. Kerney and his team take the kind of big chances that Oriole and Smyth — and, yes, Alinea — take. That’s admirable. But all too often, they whiff. At this level, that qualifies as a crisis. Brass Heart is walking a shaky high wire, with Michelin stars beckoning on the other end and no net below. I don’t know if I can watch.
The new grading buckets — available in 36-, 48- and 60-in. (91.4, 122 and 152 cm) widths — share the same profile as Bobcat’s trenching buckets and will not have internal center gussets. The design gives a larger capacity than the current grading buckets and allows for more material to be moved in one cycle of the excavator work group. Grading buckets also are equipped with waffle plates to add extra strength and rigidity to the bottom of the bucket for longer life.

After many cuddles, all 12 leave at once, borne off to the National Breeding Centre, and the house feels unnaturally quiet without their squeaks, yelps and growls. At the centre, experts will test their temperaments, judging their confidence levels. It may sound brutal, but timid pups are unlikely to make good guides, and the charity deems it better not to put them through unnecessary stress.
For the benefit of this story, I was allowed into the breeding centre to see our puppies one last time. I’m not convinced Poorly Pup knew who I was, but I was certainly glad to see her again – curious, healthy, and on the verge of a new adventure.

When these machines first appeared, prospective buyers questioned whether digging and lifting performance would be compromised (what with far less machine hanging out the back to serve as counterweight) and whether operator cabins would be smaller (maybe even uncomfortably so) to accommodate the upper’s shortened dimensions. For the most part, excavator manufacturers have solved those potential shortcomings. The Liebherr R 920 LC Compact Litronic illustrated that point during a recent Construction Equipment field test.
