Here’s the finish. Rakic lands a pretty solid leg kick and Clark tries to bum rush off of it, but that allows Rakic to simply transition to southpaw and fire a back fist that catches Clark on the jaw and he doesn’t see it. There’s plenty of ‘old Fender’ feel to the neck here with quite a narrow width (41mm at the nut), a good depth (21.1mm
at the 1st; 22.2mm at the 12th) with a subtly V’d feel in the lower positions rounding out as you move up. That early Fender-y vibe is helped by thinnish wire, around 2mm wide, with a height of around 1.2mm. It was easy to dial in a low 1.6mm string height, while truss-rod tweaks can be made from the access hole behind the nut. 

The guitar’s Schaller floating tremolo is a nice piece of hardware, too. It has a FU-Tone brass block for added mass, FU-Tone Titanium string lock insert blocks, and stainless steel saddle-mounting screws. It’s a light-yet-solid-feeling tremolo, with easy-to-maneuver fine tuners that have great sensitivity and range. You get all the dive-bombing ability you’d expect, but the tremolo is set from the factory for extreme pitch-up maneuvers, too. On the 3rd string, I was able to pull up a perfect fourth to C, and could almost make it to C#!
