The Skinny: “Ema’s Stracciatella is a fresh, light and creamy dish with tomatoes woven in to balance it out. The Skinny: “This dish, in this place, is so genuine, and so Chicago. Many people — even old-time Chicagoans — don’t know the Heart of Chicago Italian neighborhood, home to Ignotz, even though it pre-dates Chicago’s “Little Italy” on Taylor Street. The two neighborhoods are also distinguished because Heart of Chicago focuses on Northern Italian cuisine, whereas Little Italy is typically Southern. The Fried Gnocchi at Ignotz is perfectly executed — crunchy outside, soft as a pillow inside, and paired very well with warm, robust bleu cheese crumbles, and a side of marinara used to one’s taste. In the old world, neighborhood environment that is Ignotz, I was transported to a simpler time and a different land.”

Right from Holloway, he’s slipping the counter hooks. Ortega lands an uppercut but eats a right. I can’t believe the chins on these two. Lefts and rights from Holloway and they clinch up on the fence. Holloway is on the fence, Ortega is looking for a trip but Holloway slips free and lands a right. Combination from Holloway lands and he’s coming forward now. Ortega lands another right as Holloway is along the fence. Right from Holloway lands, Ortega misses an uppercut and takes another right. This fight is nuts. Another takedown attempt from Ortega hits the fence but the action stalls as the round ends.
