A reversible fan that swings out for cooler cleaning, automatic lubrication system, and a return filter for powered attachments.
“Nobody else would even talk about less than a 200,” Thompson recalled, noting that Eric Ransome introduced him to the Shark Tooth and agreed to build the attachment for his Case CX160 Hydraulic Excavator.
Known as the “Stumper,” Solesbee’s says the attachment fits 15- to 40-ton excavators and can increase production by as much as 30 percent compared to other land-clearing methods, such as bucket attachments, bulldozing and forestry mowing. This speed, the company says, allows contractors to complete jobs in less time and generate fast ROI.
When the excavator and other machines arrived on the island, the Laginas and regular “cast members,” including Dan Blankenship, a 92-year-old resident of the island who has been searching for the treasure for half his life, watched the trucks roll to a stop. “That looks like capable equipment right there,” Marty Lagina said at the sight of the heavy machinery.
The Skinny: “I met up with three friends from culinary school, and we all wanted to try a new spot. The Porchetta was incredible, sliced thin and still crispy. What made the sandwich unique was that they went Philly style by topping it with cheese, but it was the garlic and chili broccolini that brought a great twist to this awesome dish!”
Smith went nuts on Page with suplexes at the outset. Killer Elite Squad tried to take the fight to the floor, but that backfired. Yujiro and Page hit stereo suicide dives. Smith and Archer came back with a Hart attack.
The 4-in-1 CB25 combination buckets from Kubota Tractor Corp., Grapevine, Texas, are available in 68-, 74- and 80-in. sizes. The attachment has the ability to turn a skid-steer into a combination bucket loader for loading, carrying and dumping dirt, sand, gravel and other materials, the company says. The jaw can be used as a grapple to pick up loose materials, such as large rocks, tree branches and sticks.
Mark Hanson, regional vice president, Manitou Group, and CEO, Manitou North America, West Bend, Wis., agrees that interest in attachments is growing and a wider variety of the tools are becoming part of a rental store’s inventory.
The excavator pallet forks from Dromone Engineering, Oldcastle, County Meath, Ireland, distributed in North America by Tag Manufacturing, Chattanooga, Tenn., are available for excavators ranging from 10 to 24 tons and can be fitted to 65mm or 80mm pins. The forks are adjustable and removable.
The Skinny: “Each course was better than the last. So perfect. We loved each other’s meal as much as our own. Total perfection. We celebrated my birthday and the food, service, ambiance is first rate. They never skip a beat. Always perfection! The Everest is a wonderful celebration restaurant. We wish we could go every night. We are planning to return to celebrate Carlos’ birthday and can’t wait.”
The increased durability translates to less maintenance. “If the material is hard or compacted rock is involved, a severe-duty bucket will save the operator time and money by saving on maintenance,” says Horton. “A severe-duty bucket costs more at the time of purchase. However, it will pay for itself in a short period of time and thus save money in the long run.”
There are a lot of advantages to tilting and rotation buckets. “They are very versatile and when used in the right application like ditching or finish grading, it is by far the best attachment to use,” says Ryan Neal, Caterpillar. “But the weight of the attachments will affect the overall capacity of the bucket.”
